What AutoEntry does
AutoEntry captures receipts, purchase and sales invoices, expense claims, supplier statements and bank or credit card statements, extracts the data with OCR and machine learning, and publishes it to the accounting software. Documents arrive by web upload, a dedicated email address or the mobile app.
Pricing is a monthly credit allowance rather than a per-client fee. US plans run from Bronze ($13 for 50 credits) to Sapphire ($469 for 2,500 credits).
A receipt or invoice uses 1 credit, an invoice with line items or a supplier statement 2, and each bank statement page 3.
Unused credits roll over for 90 days, and every plan includes all features, unlimited users, unlimited client companies and unlimited storage. Sage bought AutoEntry in September 2019 and said it would stay open to users of other ledgers.
AutoEntry says it processes over 28 million documents a year.
