Juno vs TaxGPT: AI Prep and Research for Tax Firms

Last verified 2026-10-15. Only sourced facts are shown; unknowns are marked.

Short answer

Juno is an AI-native prep platform with a flat per-return price (volume-discounted; trial: 5 free preps, no card) and built-in Reviewer/Binder/Advisor. TaxGPT is primarily tax research with optional Agent Andrew review and Cowork agents; firm plan prices are demo-only. Choose Juno when document-to-return prep is the bottleneck; choose TaxGPT (or Blue J / Claude) when research is. Hands-on accuracy for both is still pending our bench tests.
